Didn’t the last few months seem like a dream in a way? We couldn’t be happier that life has regained a certain sense of normalcy. ⠀

And with kids running outdoors and back in yoga classes, we are absolutely stoke ⠀

I can’t believe we’ve managed to live like this for nearly 2 months. I wonder how we will look back on this exasperating, exhausting yet extraordinary time? One wher Don’t leaf our planet to chance. It’s Earth Day today and if there’s anything that this whole stay home situation is showing us, it’s that nature heals from the reduced human pollution. Here’s hoping the kids will play f Namastay at home. ⠀

It’s scary times for everyone. Since the start of the year, the Covid-19 pandemic has ravaged our sense of the world; affecting how we behave, move, and feel. We are never more grateful for our healthcare heroes, our teach Heard a piece of really bad news today from a close friend whose livelihood got hit hard due to the current economic uncertainty. These are unprecedented times for everyone. Let’s be there for each other and support the small businesses and fam Waiting to fly back soon. 🦄💫 O baby, we've come a pretty long way. ⠀
We passed the halfway mark of #26daysofmindfulness using the #alphabreaths book! And it’s become a little ritual every night with the family - so much so that the baby has come to expect it even if she do It’s #childrensmentalhealthweek. It’s not something that’s noted in Singapore yet, but it’s reassuring to see parents here care about it.⠀

We’re beginning to understand that while often tell our kids to eat healthy and New month, fresh starts, small journeys.

When @koyourichan’s mummy and I were chatting about her going for yoga lessons last year, we didn’t even have anything like this in mind. ⠀

As we entered this year, we talked about self-care and It's been exactly one year since I went back to work from maternity leave and about 10 months since Claire started kids yoga.⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We both have had plenty of adjustments along the way. My biggest change was understanding how to respond to her Happy CNY! May the year of the rat bring you plenty of positivity, prosperity and peace. With Day 1 done, having time to be still and relax with the family are what we are looking forward to for the rest of the long cny weekend. ⠀

By the way, did y Yes, yes and yes. Finally done reading my copy of the excellent @hellolunchlady cover to cover, and this piece about anxiety in kids stood out. Because as parents, we try to soothe our kids’ fears and pains by telling them not to worry; or beha Look ma, no sweat pulling myself up for the weekend! ⠀

Because the world can sometimes seem like a big, scary place for kids, especially when they're encountering personal leaps like starting at a new school or class. Or even hearing news they might not be able to mak On the eve of the eve of 2020, this is how we’re feeling all at once: Incredibly sad to see 2019 go; kinda anxious about upcoming changes and challenges. Yet so thankful and glad for the memories and new friendships that we made. Will next year All we knead this season! How witty is this card from @betsypetersen who’s also one half of @brighterfun. What’s batter - treats before yoga or after? I’m voting the first!
